THE MALTESE ISLANDS

The Maltese Archipelago consists of 3 islands:

- Malta (27km/14.5km - 246 square km),

- Gozo (14.5km/7.2km - 67 square km),

- Comino (2,7 square km)

The Maltese Islands are situated in the middle of the Mediterranean sea at 93 km south of Sicily and 230 km from north of North Africa.

The climate is warm, average temperature in winter 14C, in summer 32C. The hottest period is from mid-July to mid-September.
